Matthew Morris

Matthew Morris, a Colorado native, began his career as a makeup artist. With high demand for his celebrated work, it was only natural for Matthew to make the transition into hair styling. With a background in sculpture and design, Matthew found his favorite medium in beauty. Known for being a quick-change artist, Matthew has the ability to morph clients and models into endless looks with ease. In 2006, Matthew opened his eponymous flagship salon. In 2015 and 2017, two more followed. Today the salons are the market leader in the region. With a deep understanding of classic beauty, technical excellence, and healthy hair, it was only natural for the world renown luxury brand, Kerastase, to find Matthew to be their perfect match. As Global Master for Kerastase, he helped start their education team from the ground up. Matthew didn’t sit still long and opened Elevate Salon Institute in 2018 with partners Cameron Letterman and Marvin Gutierrez, helping pave the way for future professionals. In 2019 he joined the L’Oreal team as Artistic Director, working out of the corporate offices in Hudson Yards, NYC. Matthew is back in Colorado now, focusing on the salon brand and its stylists.
